Thanks to the amazing Mat-Cat the website has now been revamped into something more befitting the project - a webcomic! We'll be updating on Mondays and Thursdays. I'm so ridiculously excited to be doing this! Stop by and check it out! [link]
On a side note - I've graduated! Yeah, weird, right? I finally finished school and now I'm thrown out into the "real world" or something. Not sure exactly what's happening next, but we shall see...mwahaha!
Devious Comments
*ahem* Just read through the comic, and while it's a little early to say much about the storyline, characterization or dynamic, a few technical... hm, pointers, if you will;
- consider using a computer font; in some panels I couldn't decipher the dialog, and *that*... is an issue;
- are you using photoshop? if so, dialog bubbles are very easy to do, adjust and move digitally; I'm sorry to say this, but those done by hand feel fairly shaky;
- frames; again, if you're using PS, or just have it handy, frames (hm, or "borders" if you prefer) done in a more regular fashion would look a bit cleaner.
Now, with the above out of the way, I really do like what you're doing with the comic, and respect the amount of detail put into it - the city scene with a sh*tload of random pedestrians, for instance - is impressive, and I really don't mean to be Mr Knows Better here... but I've learned on my own mistakes a lot, so if I can offer any advice, well, you know, I do.
peace
The pages I am producing now are showing marked improvement for this effort, and I do feel that it is worth it in the long run to stick with the manual approach as long as it doesn't detract from the story. I'm not sure which bubbles you're talking about where you couldn't decipher the dialog, so I'll go back over and look for those and hopefully fix them.
Thank you again for your comments.

My webcomic - Age of Night: [link]
"Search for freedom, find your place."
I do get your point about the traditionalist approach, by the way. I don't necessarily agree much, but hey, it's a free world and the fun thing about things "artistic" is that we can actually both be right at the same time, despite contrary positions :]
Anyways, good luck with the thing.
